Letterpress Plates
Precise detailing and mechanical resistance
Letterpress plates are Japanese technology, uncompromising quality, and high material hardness. Water-based plate washing technology allows for stable printing plates the use of solvents – plate processing time is extremely fast.
Letterpress Printight® Letterpress plates are widely used in label printing, cups, cans, buckets, caps, pad printing, embossing, and varnishing.

Why Letterpress Plates?
Plate processing time reduced to a minimum
Water technology - safer and more efficient
Plates are developed with water, eliminating the need for solvents and reducing chemical disposal costs. This makes the pre-press a safer place to work, and the process becomes faster and more environmentally friendly. The absence of intense odors, shorter production times and lower energy consumption are in line with the expectations of today's printers and their customers.
Push-pull durability and long overlaps
Toyobo plates are distinguished by their high mechanical resistance, which translates into printing stability even under high pressure and extended runs. They retain their sharp point, do not rub off or deform - which allows them to maintain consistent quality from the first sheet to the last. This is especially important when printing on rough, uncoated substrates.
Perfect fit for corrugated cardplate and porous papers
The plate's structure has been optimized for printing on difficult substrates - absorbent, irregular and rough substrates. Printing plate enables even ink transfer and prevents flooding of raster points. As a result, prints remain legible and clear, and the risk of discoloration or underprinting is significantly reduced.
Compatibility with CTP and QUICKER systems
Toyobo plates work with the exposure and water processing equipment available from QUICKER. The pre-press process can be fully automated and optimized for the specific technology at the printer. The Print Systems team supports in implementation, testing and calibration - so that each die works as expected.
Point stability and print legibility
Flat point vertices and a solid surface structure allow for crisp edges and high text legibility, even at low input resolution. This is crucial for letterpress printing, where durability, contrast and resistance to varying operating conditions are important. Toyobo plates guarantee consistency of quality regardless of run length.

OR
1a
Contact negative

Removing the protective film and placing the negative with the emulsion side on the plate.
1b
Ablation, CtP laser

Plate ablation on a CtP laser.
2
Surface exposure

Expose the plate through a negative or through a black mask.
3
Leaching

Leaching in water. The leaching time depends on the thickness of the plate.
4
Drying

Drying of the plate with hot air, preceded by removal of residual water from the surface of the plate using a gun with compressed air. The drying time depends on the type of plate.
5
UVA lightening

UVA light irradiation of the plate.
The irradiation should last the same or longer than the main irradiation.

Why Print Systems?
Over 20 years of experience
We have been supporting printing houses in Poland and abroad for two decades. We combine practical knowledge of printing with technological know-how to help customers achieve better production results.
Our own brand of equipment and chemicals
QUICKER is not just a logo - it is a line of equipment and chemicals created from scratch by our team. This gives us full control over the quality and development of the products.
We start with an analysis, not an offer
Before we propose anything, we conduct an audit and tests. Thanks to this, the solutions we implement are truly tailored to the needs of our clients and bring measurable results.
Flexibility in cooperation
We adapt to your possibilities and production rhythm. We fulfill quick orders, implement system solutions and support when you need it most.
A comprehensive system approach
We deliver not only products, but also ready-made solutions – from plates, through chemicals and devices, to service and consulting. Everything works together – efficiently and predictably.
A relationship based on trust
# Y esW e Car e is our daily life. We are a partner who really listens, advises and takes responsibility for what we propose – from the first conversation to implementation.
