Scapa tapes and foams for mounting photopolymer plates offer excellent flexibility and print quality, even at higher speeds. Reusable for multiple applications.

Exafit® double-sided foam-backed compression mounting tapes have been specially developed to meet even the most stringent requirements of the flexo industry.

Description and Specifications

The tapes are constructed of a polyethylene foam carrier coated with a special acrylic adhesive. They are additionally reinforced with a polyester film. The cover is a silicone-coated, lightly embossed polypropylene film. Scapa precisely grinds foams to achieve exact thickness tolerances. This unique process provides unparalleled advantages for companies using flexographic printing. Foam morphology is not damaged, so it is possible to maintain its excellent flexibility and print quality, even at higher speeds.
