Aniloks is responsible for delivering a strictly defined amount of Printing inks to the printing plates .

The quality of the anilox has a colossal effect on the quality of printing. We match the capacity of the anilox with the amount of ink we want to apply to the material. Depending on the linearity of the work, we also choose the linearity of the anilox.

Description

Aniloxes are selected individually and according to the printing quality requirements.
Among the key parameters of the anilox are worth mentioning:

  • body type,
  • The shape of the surface structure,
  • angle of the inkwells,
  • lineage (raster density),
  • capacity (volume of inkwells).

Our supplier of aniloxes, BAT Graphics, is a reliable manufacturer of high quality, precision aniloxes for the printing industry. The French company is a major supplier of aniloxes to many well-known global printing machine manufacturers.

Frequent questions

The amount of ink supplied (anilox capacity) must be adjusted to the substrate on which we print and the linearity of the printing form. Its quantity affects the optical density of the printed field as well as the point gain, i.e. the quality of the reproduced image during flexo printing.

There are several test methods on the market for measuring anilox wear. A common one is the printing inks spot test, which involves applying a certain amount of special printing inks to the anilox and, after imprinting a mark on the substrate, measuring this field.

The implementation of effective, production-specific anilox cleaning procedures should be a priority for any printing company. Their proper implementation translates into longer life of aniloxes, better ink transfer, which increases stability and repeatability during printing.
