Why Amsky exposing machines?

High resolution and repeatable exposure

Amsky CtP exposers provide stable and precise plate exposure thanks to a linear motor, dynamic autofocus and automatic drum balance. These solutions translate into consistent image quality with every production run.

Repeatability of parameters is crucial in serial production, and Amsky handles this flawlessly - regardless of the format and type of plate.

Automatic plate loading and redundant laser beam

With automatic plate loading and unloading features, Amsky exposers maximize productivity in the pre-press. A redundant laser beam system maintains continuous operation even if one laser beam fails.

This is a real time-saver and avoids costly downtime - a solution ideal for multi-shift production or demanding customers.

Compatibility with offset and letterpress plates

Amsky exposers support a wide range of plate formats and thicknesses - from boothard offset to thicker Letterpress plates and flexo on metal substrates.

Model M600 allows exposure of plates up to 0.95 mm thick, making it a versatile solution for packaging, label and specialty production printers.

Laser head life and component durability

Thanks to the use of high-quality components, Amsky exposers booth out for their above-average service life. Laser heads last more than 10,000 hours of operation, reducing replacement frequency and operating costs.

A 24-month warranty on the head and 12 months on the entire device give printers real investment protection.

Professional features at an affordable price

Amsky exposers offer performance comparable to premium equipment, but at a much more attractive budget. This is a great solution for printers who want to increase quality and productivity without overpaying for the brand.

Combined with our advice and service, it's an investment that pays off quickly - technically and business-wise.

Center knowledge

Our many years of experience and the numerous problems we have solved for our clients have enabled us to build a knowledge base in the field of printing.

Possible causes:

  • Inadequate pressure of the print roller against the material.
  • Incorrect pressure ratio between the anilox roller and the printing roller.
  • There is not enough Printing inks the ink system or the ink reservoir.
  • Used, damaged printing plate.
  • For film materials—no need to prime the substrate for printing.

Possible solutions:

  • Creation of a printing taxonomy.
  • Regular inspection of all components: anilox, printing plate, cylinders.
  • Use of camera video surveillance systems.
  • Before printing, always check that the material is activated; if in doubt, activate it.

Possible causes:

  • Print cylinder misalignment.
  • Printing cylinder bearing wear.
  • Wear on the gears in the print unit.
  • Too much tension on the printed material.
  • Poor assembly of the printing plate.

Possible solutions:

  • Given that parts are subject to wear and tear, prevention and periodic technical inspections of all components are of the utmost importance.
  • It is necessary to check whether the printing machine meets boothard printing conditions (unwind tension, pull guides, etc.).

Possible causes:

  • The differences in the raster angles for individual process colors are less than 30 degrees
  • An anilox roller with a line count less than five times that of the printing plate was used

Possible solutions:

  • Adjust the screen angles used to the values recommended for this printing process
  • The ideal ratio between the anilox roller and the working line spacing is 5:1

Possible causes:

  • Contamination of the Printing plate screen on Printing plate
  • Anilox roller damage
  • If dirt or a defect appears in different places every few rotations of the roller, it may be due to contamination of the printing plate.
  • The doctor blade is allowing too much Printing inks to pass Printing inks the anilox roller.
  • The squeegee becomes damaged, and metal particles contaminate the anilox roller—they can damage the anilox roller by causing circumferential scratches.

Possible solutions:

  • Check the cleanliness of Printing plate ; use only the cleaning agents specified by the manufacturer or supplier of the plates.
  • Inspect the technical condition of the anilox roller; handle the roller’s surface with care.
  • Replace the squeegee blade each time before starting a new job.
  • Using only recommended squeegee blades, checking wear.

Possible causes:

  • Paint with a very high tack
  • Excessive ink coverage in the area where this problem occurs—over 300% for paper

Possible solutions:

  • Dilute the paint with an appropriate solvent or reduce its viscosity by adding an appropriate resin to the mixture.
  • Reduce the total tonal value to 270%–280%
