Premiere of QUICKER UV LED at the Self-adhesive Labels Congress
A new dimension of precision in exposure
During the 4th Self-adhesive Labels Congress, we presented the new QUICKER UV LED exposing machine, which sets the trend in flexo printing plate preparation. Participants of the event had the opportunity to see the device in action, as well as talk about the technical details and effects of working with UV LED technology.
QUICKER UV LED is an advanced exposing machine using LED technology for curing photopolymer printing plates. The device was designed for flexographic printing houses, which focus on repeatability, energy efficiency and stability of the process of preparing print forms.
The use of LEDs ensures even, consistent light intensity across the entire exposure area, which translates into high precision and eliminates the need for frequent calibration. The lack of need to heat up the device reduces preparation time and allows the process to start immediately, which significantly improves production efficiency.
LED technology lowers energy consumption and reduces heat and ozone emissions, making the device more friendly to the environment and to operators' working conditions. QUICKER UV LED does not require lamp replacement or costly maintenance, resulting in lower operating costs.
