Print Systems at Labelexpo Europe 2015
Record-breaking edition of Europe's most important trade fair
At Labelexpo Europe 2015 in Brussels, Print Systems presented a number of technological innovations dedicated to the flexo and letterpress industry. The stand featured, among others, a state-of-the-art flexo CtP laser exposing machine from Amsky and the latest polymer plates from Japanese company Toyobo.

The Amsky AURA flexo CtP laser exposing machine features excellent technical parameters, such as automatic drum auto-balancing system, auto focus, 4000 dpi resolution and RiP rasterization software included. This solution is dedicated to printers who want to invest in their own pre-press, reduce plate processing time, increase quality and fully control the entire process.
The new generation of COSMOLIGHT QZ flexo plates from Toyobo, thanks to a layer that prevents oxidation of the polymer during exposure, achieves a flat point , which translates into an overall rippled point in printing. The special polymer layer allows the point to be reproduced almost 1:1, and low raster values gain great stability even in high print runs. In addition, PRINTIGHT's new-generation Letterpress plates feature exceptional flexibility and durability, better reproduction of the smallest rasters, and high resolution of up to 200 lpi / 1% for CtP plates.
Also of great interest were the precision measuring devices presented at thePrint Systems stand Troika and ViTiny, which allow quality control at various stages of label printing.
Labelexpo Europe 2015, held at the Brussels Expo exhibition center, was a record-breaking edition of the event, which also celebrated the 35th anniversary of the fair. It attracted 35,739 visitors from 146 countries, and the number of exhibitors exceeded 650 companies.
The show focused on innovations in label and packaging printing, showcasing the latest technologies, including hybrid printing systems that combine digital printing with traditional methods such as flexography. New products included the Gallus DCS 340, the brand's first modular digital system, and the Optima 820 from Soma Engineering.
The event also featured special thematic zones, such as the Packprint Workshop, which showcased packaging printing capabilities, and the Smart Packaging Lab, focusing on smart and active packaging solutions. Also new was the Linerless Trail initiative, promoting the benefits of linerless labels.
