Doctor blades

Doctor blades control the quantity of ink transferred onto the printing cylinder. They remove excess ink from the cylinder surface as it rotates and supplies ink. In essence, they act as metering blades.

BLADE MASTER doctor blades are characterized by:

  • Precise rectilinearity,
  • Very uniform microstructure,
  • Precise flatness,
  • High wear resistance,
  • High tensile strength and hardness.
  • Precise edge finish

BLADE MASTER doctor blades ensure:

  • Long-running time and production without interruption,
  • Safe printing without cylinder damage,
  • Low blade pressure thanks to precise rectilinearity,
  • Reduced cylinder wear.

BLADE MASTER doctor blades are carefully manufactured using the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art production equipment.

We also offer anilox rolls, water-wash flexographic plates, and letterpress plates by the Japanese producer Toyobo.
