Italian printer already washing plates with our QUICKER C66
The first QUICKER C66 for washing plates after printing, made by Print Systems installed. Our customer is SCRIBA. The printer was founded in 1987 in Podenzano and is an important player in the packaging market as a producer of self-adhesive labels and shrink films.
The printing house currently employs 50 workers. The company is focused on growth through continuous investment in machinery. It serves customers in the Italian and international markets. Each stage of the printing house's activities is controlled in terms of product and service quality in accordance with ISO 9001 boothards.
SCRIBA specializes in the production of labels for wine, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Its state-of-the-art machinery allows it to use a wide range of printing techniques to meet the requirements of increasingly demanding customers and the ever-growing packaging market. The printing facility uses printing techniques ranging from screen printing to offset, letterpress to flexography and combined techniques. It also offers all types of finishing and enhancement such as; hot and cold foil, plasticization, coating, embossing on various materials.
Due to the growing needs for cleaning photopolymer plates, decisions have been made to purchase a QUICKER C66 post-printing plate washer manufactured by Print Systems. The machine was installed in October 2019 on the production floor in Podenzano. Print Systems conducted a training course on the machine's operation to provide operators with practical knowledge of daily operation. Specialized QUICKER Cleaner chemistry is used for cleaning.
